Meet Dr. Kritchman
David Kritchman, D.D.S.
Dr. Kritchman received his BA degree from New York University in 1966 and his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1970 where he was a member of the William Jarvie honor society. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York in 1970 and has remained active in the residency teaching program since then. He also served as the interim director of residency education for several years. He became certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 1979.
Dr. Kritchman has maintained a private practice in Manhattan since completing his residency and he is currently on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. He has co-authored two scientific journal articles in the fields of trauma and pathology and has also given several presentations at the annual Greater New York dental meeting.
Dr. Kritchman’s practice includes the full scope of oral surgery services with special interests in pathology and corrective jaw surgery; both of which he has been involved in for over thirty years. In his spare time he enjoys reading, travel and cooking.
His claim to fame was a brief appearance on the David Letterman show in 2006 at their request.
