Meet Dr. Salm

Clifford Salm, D.M.D

Dr. Clifford Salm was raised in New York City, is a graduate of The Horace Mann School and a cum laude graduate of Tufts University. He received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned the award for excellence from the American Association of Dental Anesthesiology.  Dr. Salm completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and became Board Certified in 1983.  He has been practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in New York City since 1981.

Dr. Salm is on staff at Beth Israel Medical Center and was a clinical instructor at New York University College of Dentistry and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital.  Dr. Salm continues to be involved in continuing dental education with his participation at the Greater New York Dental Meeting where he will become General Chairman for the 2008 meeting.  He is a member of numerous Dental, Oral Surgery and Implant organizations including Fellowships in the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists, the Academy of Ossointegration, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New York Academy of Dentistry and the Pierre Fouchard Academy.  He has been included in the publication “Guide to America’s Top Dentists”.
