Gary J. Ruth, DDS

As Manhattan’s leading oral and maxillofacial surgeon, with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Gary Ruth is a pioneer in oral surgery techniques used around the world.

Dr. Ruth performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, where he went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After his third year as an undergraduate, he was awarded a biomedical research grant, which allowed him to conduct extensive cancer research. Dr. Ruth held a general practice residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in affiliation with Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Ruth continued his training with a residency at New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center before establishing his Manhattan-based private practice in 1986. He has lectured extensively around the world, held teaching positions at New York University Dental School and is currently an attending surgeon at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
